A Great Day for Age Concern Basildon

Stephen Metcalfe, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for South Basildon and East Thurrock was recently invited to become a trustee of Age Concern Basildon. One of his first tasks was to attend the “We’ll Meet Again Day” organised by Age Concern Basildon and held at their office at the All About Centre in Laindon today.

Stephen commented, “Age Concern play a vital role in our local community and I was delighted to be invited to join the trustees of this worth while and valuable organisation. I was also delighted to attend today’s event. Cllr Mo Larkin (Chairman of Basildon Age Concern) and her team have put a fantastic day together for the benefit of the older people in our community. The weather held out and as well as lunch and an exhibition there was live entertainment and dancing. Everyone, including myself had a great time.”
