Meet Betsy!



Stephen Metcalfe, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for South Basildon & East Thurrock has invested in a 1994 London Taxi to act as his campaign vehicle for the forthcoming General Election Campaign.


Betsy, as she has been christened, devolved her name from the newly formed South Basildon & East Thurrock Parliamentary seat.


Stephen commented, “Betsy is the perfect campaign vehicle, she’s great for carrying passengers and leaflets alike and with her new livery, stands out from the crowd.”



He added, “If anyone see Betsy around they can be sure I won’t be far away, so do come and say hello to us both, she’s very friendly!”


He finished, “With speculation rising about the timing of the General Election, now is the perfect time to get Betsy out and about, and if I am fortunate enough to win and become the next MP for South Basildon & East Thurrock she will continue to play an important role as my mobile surgery.
