The Papworth Trust need your votes to get Big Lottery Funding

Papworth Trust has been short listed for National Lottery Funding and you can help them win!  A short film of the project will be shown on ITV in London on Thursday 26 November after the 6pm regional news.  They will be up against four other organisation for the funding and the winner will be decided based on the number of votes by text or phone call.  Voting lines will be open before the programme is aired, from 9am on 26 November (costs 10p from a BT land line).

The nominated project is based at the Papworth Trust Centre, Basildon and is called “Cultivating Quality”.  It involves developing a community cottage garden in the midst of urban Basildon. This will be accessible to people with limited mobility and to gardeners of all ages, with raised beds for people that find bending difficult.  It will include a sensory garden for people with hearing or sight impairments, and a wildlife area with a pond to improve the local ecology.

Watch the film on ITV after the regional news at 6pm if you live in London or Essex and see the number to vote

Keep an eye on their website www.papworth.org.uk where the number to vote will be announced
